Why was STRĀ founded?

An estimated 200 million street dogs and cats fight for survival in conditions that would break the heart of any compassionate observer. These animals, forgotten by society, face a life of hunger, disease, and neglect, growing exponentially in numbers yet diminishing in hope and health.

This grim reality is what compelled the birth of STRĀ. Born from a deep sense of responsibility and an urgent call to action, STRĀ stands as a beacon of hope for these voiceless souls. Our mission is not just to feed or to heal but to transform the lives of these animals and the communities that surround them.
